Australian skincare manufacturer, Ego Pharmaceuticals has partnered with not-for-profit Good360 Australia to redirect excess stock to society’s most vulnerable, rather than seeing it go to waste.

Good360 is a connector, matching charities, schools and community groups with businesses who are willing to donate unsold or surplus goods, with the aim of ensuring that the excess stock flows to people in need instead of going to waste.

Ego, which is known for brands such as QV Skincare, Aqium Hand Sanitiser, and SunSense Sunscreen, is committed to being a responsible and sustainable part of the global community, so when introduced to Good360, it was obvious that a partnership would provide a solution for both organisations.

“Since March 2022, Ego has been able to donate around 19,000 products to people and charities in need via our partnership with Good360,” said Tenille Taylor, Ego’s Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

“This has included a mix of product samples, promotional items, and full sized products that were no longer saleable either due to packaging updates or approaching expiry dates.”

“Good360 is proud to partner with Ego Pharmaceuticals who truly understand the role they play in the community, not only through the healthy skincare they produce and sell, but also through their impact as a responsible business. Donating unsold products and promotional items to Good360 means that vulnerable Australians can benefit from their generosity providing hope and dignity.  We look forward to a  long relationship where many people will benefit, as well as our planet.” said Alison Covington AM, Good360 Founder & Managing Director.

As an Australian family owned company, Ego has welcomed the opportunity to support other Australian families, whilst at the same time reducing the impact that they have on the environment.

As a Participant of the UN Global Compact, Ego is committed to minimising the impact that the business has on the environment, whilst also giving back to the global community.

“Ego’s partnership with Good360 helps us to drive positive change, and reduce our waste whilst also being a good corporate citizen. We look forward to continuing to partner with them into the future,” said Ms Taylor.
