Ego Pharmaceuticals took home top honours at the 2026 Governor of Victoria Export Awards (GOVEA), winning the International Health category and being crowned overall Victorian Exporter of the Year.

Organised by Global Victoria, the GOVEAs recognise businesses driving commercial and manufacturing excellence worldwide. Ego has a proud history with these awards, having previously been crowned Australian Exporter of the Year in 2017.

With international trade representing around 50% of Ego's total business, this dual win marks a historic milestone for the company.

"Exporting is at the heart of Ego’s vision, with around half of our business going to international markets," said Alan Oppenheim AM, Managing Director of Ego Pharmaceuticals. "To be named Victorian Exporter of the Year highlights global trust in scientifically proven skincare and reinforces how crucial Victorian manufacturing is on the world stage."

Ego will now progress to represent Victoria at the Australian Export Awards in November.
