We are thrilled to share that Ego's OH&S Manager, Mandeep Singh, was honoured last week at the 2025 Women in Industry Awards, winning the Safety Advocacy Award - a category that recognises individuals actively working to improve safety within their industry.
These awards celebrate the achievements of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors, and Mandeep’s recognition is a testament not only to her impact on workplace safety, but also to the dedication, expertise, and warmth she brings to her role.
Among a highly competitive field of finalists from across sectors such as transport, energy, and logistics, Mandeep proudly represented the manufacturing sector and Ego Pharmaceuticals. Her work stood out for its transformative impact, most notably her leadership in mental health reform and the implementation of innovative safety programs across the business.
From establishing a dedicated Mental Health Committee and launching key psychosocial initiatives, to introducing Ego’s ‘Golden Safety Rules’ and driving international safety improvements, Mandeep’s contributions have made a measurable difference. Under her leadership, Ego has achieved its lowest recorded Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate and been recognised as a leader in psychosocial risk management.
This award celebrates not only Mandeep’s professional achievements, but also highlights Ego’s commitment to building a safer, more supportive workplace culture.
We congratulate Mandeep on this well-deserved recognition and thank her for her unwavering efforts to make Ego, and our wider industry, a safer place for all.
