Kloxema Cream

Kloxema 0.05% cream containing clobetasone butyrate is a topical corticosteroid for the short term treatment of milder forms of eczema, dermatitis and other steroid responsive skin conditions. Designed to help treat inflammation associated with eczema and dermatitis. Helps relieve itchy, red, dry skin,  and helps clear flare ups to break the itch-scratch cycle. The moisturising cream base helps relieve associated dryness.

Kloxema's formula with added moisturising ingredients helps support the skin barrier and is free from chlorocresol and fragrance to help reduce the chance of irritation.

Active (w/w) - Clobetasone Butyrate 0.05%. CONTAINS - Hydroxybenzoates (Methyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.25% w/w, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.15% w/w) as preservatives.

  • Chlorocresol free, reducing the potential of further irritation.
  • Contains active ingredient clobetasone butyrate 0.05% cream.
  • Suitable for adults and children from 12 years of age.
  • Available without a prescription as Pharmacist Only Medicine.

Adults and Children 12 years of age and over: Apply a thin film to the affected area twice a day for up to 7 days. Rub in gently. If your skin does not improve or gets worse within a week, stop using Kloxema cream and seek medical advice.

WARNINGS: For external use only. Do not use Kloxema cream on your face, on genital areas, to treat psoriasis, in your eyes, between your toes, to treat acne, on broken or infected skin (eg. cold sores, athlete's foot, impetigo or thrush), if you have ever had a reaction to Kloxema cream or any of its ingredients, if you are pregnant, may be pregnant or are breastfeeding, if you are using any other topical corticosteroids, for more than 7 days unless a doctor has told you to, under waterproof bandages unless a doctor has told you to.


CAUTION: Do not use for children under 12 years old except under close medical supervision.
