On September 10th, Ego Pharmaceuticals' Managing Director, Alan Oppenheim, was officially presented with his Member of the Order of Australia (AM) medal by the Governor of Victoria, the Honourable Professor Margaret Gardner AC, in a formal investiture ceremony at Government House.

Recognised in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours, Mr Oppenheim received this award for his significant service to the skin healthcare industry.

“This prestigious award is more than a personal achievement; it's a recognition of the collective dedication of the entire Ego team,” said Mr Oppenheim.

“This honour reflects the contributions of all 700 current staff members, as well as every past employee, who have worked tirelessly to help people with healthy skin. We are all part of this incredible organisation, which is dedicated to transforming lives every day through the science of healthy skin across every nation we serve.”

As the Governor noted in her speech, the Australian Honours System, celebrating its 50th anniversary, helps shape the kind of nation Australia wants to be. The recipients of these awards are chosen for their significant achievements, reflecting the values and contributions that make a positive difference to the community and country.

This is a truly proud moment for both Mr Oppenheim and the entire Ego family. We're honoured to have his leadership and this well-deserved recognition of our shared commitment to the health and well-being of people everywhere.
