Ego Pharmaceuticals Recognised for Sales and Marketing efforts

The Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI) recognised excellence in sales and marketing at the ASMI Diamond Awards dinner last week. The event was attended by more than 200 industry delegates in Sydney, including Ego Pharmaceuticals Managing Director, Alan Oppenheim. Three categories of awards recognised exceptional service to the industry, marketing campaigns (including an all-new award for switch) and sales service, with this category split in two based on pharmacy sales size of more than and less than $100 million.

Ego Pharmaceuticals were awarded the Best Small Budget Campaign for its MOOV Headlice/Deadlice campaign, while the award for pharmacy sales less than $100 million was also taken out by Ego for their achievement in the previous financial year. The awards were presented by ASMI’s Marketing & Business Development Director, Filomena Maiese.

ASMI represents companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of non-prescription consumer healthcare products in Australia. It also monitors and assists related businesses including advertising, public relations, legal, statistical and regulatory consultancy companies and individuals.
