I've been using the Cancer Council branded sunscreen this summer, but when I went to buy more, I decided that I would try Ego Sunsense Sport 50+ instead.
Today was my first day using it. I was in the sun for half an hour at 10am and then for another half an hour at 11:30 am. I applied it on my nose, chest and arms, liberally. My chest and arms are sunburnt. And I was only walking a dog, and mostly in the shade. Very disappointed!!
I will go back to the Cancer Council brand now.

Is sunsense sport suitable for oily skin?

  • Ego Pharmaceuticals Aug 09 ,2016 at 6:27 am

    Hi Noha,

    Thanks for your question!

SunSense Sport can be used by any skin type, however like all of our Body Sunscreens, it contains a water resistance aspect, with Sport that is 4 hours water resistance. This does make the product feel heavier on the skin, which is sometimes less appealing on an oilier skin.
Another suggestion would be the SunSense Clear Mist or Clear Gel, which have a water resistance of 60 mins for the Clear Gel and 3 hours for the Clear Mist. Both of these products are recommended for oily skin.

    Hope this helps!

    Many thanks,
    The Ego Team
