Hi Ego, do you use plastic micro-beads in any of your products?
The ingredients of this product look like you might do so, in which case I'd like to let you know that they are very bad for the environment & are in fact being banned in Europe - mainly because they are too small to be caught by filtration systems, and end up in the oceans.
    Cheers, Helen

    Hi Helen,

Thank you for contacting us concerning the QV Face Exfoliating Polish.

The current formulation of our QV Face Exfoliating Polish contains polyethylene beads, which were selected due to the distinct low risk of irritation to sensitive skin. We are aware of the discussion concerning synthetic microbeads and their effect on the environment, and have reviewed the ingredients in this product to ascertain if there is a more sustainable alternative that can replace polyethylene and result in the same efficacy and suitability for sensitive skin.

Unfortunately reformulating a product is not as simple as substituting one ingredient for another. New ingredients must be assessed for their compatibility with existing ingredients and the resulting formulation then subjected to stability trials. However we are pleased to say that a new QV Face Exfoliating Polish, containing biodegradable microbeads, is due to be launched in the next couple of months.

    Many thanks,
    The Ego Team

    Thanks Ego Team
Very glad to hear that you're already in the process to make changes regarding the micro beads!
    Cheers, Helen

I have tried many many times over the last few months to give feedback, i also had a letter with an email address which I sent emails countless times to no avail, i then would add .au to email address and still no luck.

From your latest email in my inbox which states click here this is what I get.

    404 - page not found

Sorry, the page you're looking for has gotten lost! Either keep looking, or try to find what you were after below.

Re: Test of QV Face Exfoliating Polish. I'm not sure if this is where to leave my review as all your links seem broken or out of date. However the exfoliating polish is as good as the communication was bad. I love the feel of my skin after using the polish. It is not so rough that you feel like you sanded your face and not so weak that you wouldn't bother. It felt just right and my skin felt just right after using it. I'm more than happy to review other products of QV as I am sure I would switch after using them just like I'm switching to QV Face Exfoliating Polish. Thankyou for the trial.

I loved the QV Exfoliating polish. I prefer a cream cleanser but loved the fine exfoliation that this product gave, gentle enough to use everyday but still give that fresh feeling you get from exfoliating.

QV Face Exfoliating Polish is perfect for sensitive skin-it has tiny beads that genly exfoliate your skin but is not too abrasive and it leaves your skin soft and supple!

The first time I used QV Face Exfoliating Polish, I found the beads a little harsh to apply. Adding more water seemed to fix that problem. The product leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and fresh without irritation. I can use it regularly too!
