Rough, dry, toughened and/or cracked skin on the feet and heels.
The sweat glands in our feet release moisture, the continual wearing of shoes inhibits evaporation of this moisture creating the ideal environment for bacteria to breed. The growth of bacteria then causes foot odour.
Advice for Patient
Avoid wearing open toe shoes, ill fitting shoes, or going bare foot as these all contribute to the drying out of feet and heels. Ensure feet and heels remain hydrated as this helps to soften the skin.
Allow your feet to breathe occasionally by wearing airy, open toe shoes or sandals. Avoid overheating your feet. Rubber sole shoes and synthetic socks will assist with overheating.

QV FEET HEEL BALM
QV Feet Heel Balm utilises a unique and effective lactate system to rehydrate and revive rough dry and cracked heels. The lactate system synergises the effects of sodium lactate and lactic acid. Sodium lactate is a naturally occurring substance within the human skin that has tremendous hygroscopic abilities. Lactic acid is a member of the alpha hydroxy family of acids (AHA’s) and has superior exfoliation and plasticization abilities.
QV Feet Heel Balm is urea free so it won’t sting cracked feet. This innovative formulation eliminates the need for pumicing or buffing.
