World Pharmacists Day at Curtin UniversityOctober 7, 2015
Pharmacists and pharmacy students around Australia celebrated World Pharmacists Day on Thursday 24th September, with a series of health promotion events, health check services and fun activities.
The purpose of World Pharmacists Day is to encourage activities that promote and advocate for the role of the pharmacist in improving health in every corner of the world.
The National Australian Pharmacy Students Association (NAPSA) is a society that aims to give pharmacy students across Australia the best kick-start into the industry as possible, with pharmacy-specific education and invaluable information sources.
In Western Australia, the Western Australian Pharmacy Students Association (WAPSA), in association with NAPSA, saw pharmacists and pharmacy students hold a pop-up stall in the Guild Courtyard at Curtin University, providing health advice to students across the University.
Ego supported WAPSA and their initiative, offering a variety of SunSense samples and prizes which were distributed to many students.
