Sydney Adventist Hospital Teddy Bears’ PicnicJuly 11, 2016
Earlier this year, the San Teddy Bears’ Picnic was held on the front lawn of the Sydney Adventist Hospital, where 1000 mums, bubs and their families gathered together to celebrate the baby community.
The Sydney Adventist Hospital, more commonly known as the San, is New South Whales’ largest private hospital, delivering up to 3000 babies per year.
An invitation to the event was extended only to mothers who had given birth at the San over the past 24 months.
It was a perfect sunny day and everyone enjoyed the picnic morning tea. While the mums enjoyed reuniting with their obstetricians and midwifes, the children were having fun with popular children’s entertainer Jay Laga’aia who performed a range of well-known songs and dances.
Plenty of give-aways were handed out and each mum received a gift bag with popular baby products to try, including QV Baby Barrier Cream samples.
Plans are already underway for the 2017 San Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and we can’t wait to re-join the team next year for a day full of fun!
