I suffer from pompholyx . QV cream works well in maintaining my skin when the skin is in the drying healing state . Since I have been using QV cream my pompholyx does not itch as much as it used to . No itch which leads into no inflammation . This cream does not aggravate my pompholyx . Smiles all round

I recently had a tattoo done on my forearm - my second. With my first, I was told to use one of your competitors products, and it took months to heal, and felt oily and not very nice. I had my second done two weeks ago - a complete forearm piece, and the artist told me to use the QV. I was so glad that I did - the skin felt much much less irritated and sore, healed quickly and didn't develop any crusty scabs like my first did. I then used the wash as well and have been so pleased with the results. i would recommend these products to anyone with a new tattoo!

Hi - I notice there was no reply to the customer who asked whether any of the ingredients of QV were of animal origin. I am concerned about Squalane. Is the type you use derived from shark-liver or from plants?

  • Ego Pharmaceuticals Aug 20 ,2015 at 5:00 am

    Hi Cathy,

The QV Cream contains squalene, which is derived from shark liver oil. We are currently researching alternate sources of squalene.

    Thank you for your question.

    Kind Regards,
    The Ego Team.

I suffer from mild acne, and am currently using benzoyl peroxide to treat it. I was wondering whether I could use this cream without breaking out, as I have sensitive skin that tends to be on the dry side, as strange as it may sound.

    Please reply!! Thank you!

    Hi Michelle,

The QV range should be suitable for use on dry, sensitive skin without breaking you out - although every skin is different and reacts differently. If you are concerned with your facial skin, the QV Face range is moisturising and suitable for sensitive skin, without being as thick as the QV Cream - which is ideal for body.

    Kind Regards,
    The Ego Team

I've spent over 5years ( all up ) on a severe acne treatment (isotretinoin/Roaccutane) my akin has suffered a lot! my dermatologist recommended QV and a few other products whilst I was on it hit QV was the only thing that gave me relief and worked. I used the 1l wash and 1l cream as the normal QV moisturiser didn't seem as intensive. Ive used almost all the products from day/night cream as well as the 'soap' the exfoliating cleaner and eye products.
I've been off the skin medication for almost two years and I still use QV instead of reverting to fancy trendy and (very!) expensive products like I did between courses of isotretinoin. It's made the world of difference , my skin is now fairly sensitive (due toamy courses of isotretinoin) and QV is perfect for it. I Use the cream, wash, exfoliator and wash now and would never change products again. I cannot recommend it highly enough- also it's great to see the cream back in the 1l pump.. So much easier!!

Can you please tell me the difference between your product
    1. QV Lotion (Repairs skin)
    2. QV Lotion (Replenish your skin)...Is this original product?
    Please reply...

  • Ego Pharmaceuticals Mar 06 ,2015 at 3:47 am

    Hi John,

Both QV Lotion and QV Cream repair and replenish dry skin. The primary difference is that the lotion is slightly thinner and easier to spread, while the cream has a slightly thicker consistency. Both products are excellent choices for repairing and replenishing dry, damaged skin.

    Kind Regards,
    The Ego Team.

QV sport .... made for sport..... 3 in 1 What a pleasant surprise awaited me in the mail I found a lovely package, addressed to me... not many come for me...because I am a guy, . and when I opened I found new two QV sport.... made for sport.... I was off to the shower anyway, after gym. Found that the 3 in 1 left the skin literally glowing, . using part as shampoo, part as conditioner, and then had a shave. I have very very sensative skin, and most products is trial and error, and then mostly given away, cannot use, but then this one is 100 percent no problems.... I have this morning, used my second tube, and my skin is now very supple and soft... I am out to shop, and will be looking to purchase and keep in my cupboard, so thank you for those great "small tubes" of winning creams. Have a son who is also skin sensative, so shall be buying some for him as well..... think it might be a good idea to make him up a gift box of the QV , products, and that would be another off the xmas list fixed to perfection... thanks to all there, who work so hard helping others, who can then also help others with their personal recommendations...
