Can I use pinetarsol solution on my scalp , or is the bar and gel much more effective? . Because I have eczema on my scalp and was scared that the pinetarsol solution won't work .

Hi Safaa, If you are wanting to use a Pinetarsol product to relieve itching and inflammation on your scalp, we would recommend the Pinetarsol Gel over the Pinetarsol Solution. The Gel is a more moisturising preparation and is easier to apply to the scalp. The best way to use the Pinetarsol Gel on the scalp is to apply the product to the scalp as you would use a shampoo. Leave the Pinetarsol Gel in contact with the scalp for two to three minutes, rinse from the scalp and condition hair as usual. We also manufacture low irritant shampoos and conditioners in our QV Hair range for sensitive skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Kind Regards, The Ego Team

My daughter had suffered a bad case of itchy inflamed skin on her chest we could not figure out what it was and the doctor just put it down to a reaction to something that she worn that day or she may have a case of eczema so we threw the clothing out she wore that day but it returned a few times hence us realising my daughter had a case of eczema and a friend recommended I try Pinetarsol in her bath I brought the bar and used it every night for 5 nights when bathing on her and I noticed within hours of the first use she wasnt as sore or itchy.Upon using for the 5 days the the rashy itchy inflamed skin had disappeared and only left a small red mark that faded. We now do know my girl suffers eczema when she sweats and it really irritates her so she just bathes with the Pinetarsol and it relieves her itchiness. A great product for the whole family

Hello, I have PUPPPs, a pregnancy related rash, all over my stomach that itches and burns. People have recommended me to use Grandpas Pine Tar Soap, but I can't buy it locally where I live. Is the Pinetarsol bar a good equivalent? Has there been any positive feedback for the use with PUPPPs?
