    Hi Yip,

We haven't conducted any testing of the Pinetarsol products on pregnant women, however we do know that the products have been recommended for PUPP and used for many years by pregnant women without any safety issues reported.

    Hi Len,

For psoriasis of the scalp, we recommend Sebitar Scalp Cleansing Treatment - it contains pine tar, coal tar and salicylic acid.

hi. i have psorias on my scalp. and i did use the Egopsoryl Ta on my scalp. i have bought the Pinetarsol bath oil. will it be good if i apply it to my scalp after i use the Egopsoryl? Or i shouldnt do that. should i just use a scalp shampoo such as sebitar.

    Hi Nadia,

Pinetarsol may be used on the scalp to alleviate itching and inflammation, however I would recommend the Pinetarsol Gel over the Pinetarsol Bath Oil for ease of use. The Bath Oil may also leave a greasy residue in the hair which the Gel will not. The Gel is best applied to damp hair/scalp, left in contact with the skin for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinsed off. A mild, fragrance-free conditioner can then be used, for example QV Gentle, QV Nourishing or Sebirinse.

    Kind Regards,
    The Ego Team.
